Very excited about this rare early DoMore industrial work chair circa early 1920s. It features a steel frame in its original black paint and a plywood seat and back. Despite having a nice patina associated with its age and use, it is in exceptional condition for being over a century old. Rarer still is the pattern of holes drilled into the seat forming a square with the letter D (for DoMore) within. The original paper tag is still affixed to the bottom and mostly intact. There is a small brass inventory tag affixed to the back of the backrest. The chair is also adjustable. The backrest can be lowered and set back by positioning the bolts along the side of the seat that hold the back supports, and the height of the seat can be adjusted every inch by resetting the bolts in the four posts under the chair that connect to the legs.
The entire chair has been thoroughly cleaned and refurbished while keeping the original finish intact.
The casters have also been cleaned and re-lubricated. One of the casters, while still vintage, is slightly different from the others (a Darnell brand, the others being Faultless brand).
